Philosophical Foundations of the Inquiry into Man’s Transactions in the Qur’anic Lifestyle

Abstract

Along with its tremendous achievements in various areas of human life, modern time has come up with interesting patterns changing man’s relations to man’s environments around. Destroying man’s innate and moral entity, it brought about many and detrimental challenges in the Islamic societies.
Distance from the imitation of western culture, criticism of the foundations of such a lifestyle, mentioning detrimental outcomes of such a sort of thinking, from one side, and making culture as per Qur’anic world-view and suggesting proper patterns according to the Islamic culture, from another side, are reckoned as the most significant indexes of progress thus building an Islamic novel civilization within an Islamic government. This would pave the way for the transcendence and development of Islamic-Qur’anic lifestyle in a human society.
Viewing the importance of man’s transactions in man’s social life, this paper goes to analyze the very mentioned transactions and to explain their philosophical and fundamental scopes in order to propose constituents and issues of such a lifestyle for later enquiries.
The method adopted for the following research is the reference to the Glorious Qur’an and the illuminating sayings of Ahlulbeit (PBUT) in the light of the intellect.
Findings of this paper are the explanation of theoretical principles and foundations of issues of faith in five areas: methodology, ontology, epistemology, anthropology and axiology, aiming at the explanation of the revealed world-view in order to make real the Qur’anic lifestyle.
