As the word of God spoken through the tongue of holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), The Holy Qur'an is the greatest and most important book for Muslims with inherent value and credibility. Therefore, a proper and well-structured connection between human beings and the Holy Qur'an can pave the way for establishing a lifestyle aligned with the true teachings of the Qur'an. However, this connection -both outward and inward- depends on certain conditions, among which divine succor (tawfiq) plays a key role.
While explaining the various types of inner (bāṭinī) connection, the present article seeks to answer -through the explanation and analysis of related foundations- how an inner connection with the Holy Qur'an can shape the essential framework and core indicators of a Qur'anic lifestyle. Ultimately, it concludes that the connection with the Qur'an is not limited to an outward relationship. In addition, a pure heart and a refined mind -in other words, correct insight and proper inclination- are necessary. These lead to the realization of three forms of inner connection between humans and the Qur'an: "intellectual-cognitive connection," "spiritual-cognitive connection," and "emotional-spiritual connection."
